| Comments | it has been a while since i came to Nepal and very thrilled to be back . Seeing old friends, sharing food, beers and trails KTRS Finale-Race #10 The Final Pilgrimage was the unique opportunity to run an official race here again in Nepal and I’m glad i did . Online Registration with Payment at one of the multitude locations across Kathmandu – Smooth and easy ! Finding a way to get there can be a bit chaotic but a Paid School bus departing 5 mn from where i live was provided all i had to do was to try communicate with driver who couldn’t speak English . A very friendly event – Starting at famous Vajrayana Monastery Rigon Tashi Choeling Monastery, at Dallu, Pharping. Magical Pharping trails, Monks running, Originally sold for a 12 km. Runners ‘ GPS flashing between 9 and 13 .:-) Pure Nepalese Flat: start up – go down … Stairs and Dirt – The trails are located between Dakshinkali mandir, the Monasteries, the huge Guru Rinpoche statue and cave in the midst of trails. Tibetan music rite ceremony and the final prize giving ceremony. This did sound like a final pilgrimage of the series around the Valley! A nice Saturday Morning out 🙂 Video Credit : jur9en:-) |
