Located on a outside square, it’s more just a booth for bib’s pick up .
• Race day :
No Shuttles provided
• Route :
The city of Marrakech comprises both an old fortified city (the médina) and an adjacent modern city (called Gueliz)
The Marathon route will take you through old exotic places, along the alleys of olive-trees, orange, palm trees and the ramparts of the city, then back to a long lasting 10 km road which seems never ending.
Police, Traffic security and Water support were much better then expected
• Finish line :
Medal were given to all finishers
A Dry-Fit Tshirt, instead of plain Cotton, would have been a blessing.
• Bottom Line
On the very same night you will be able to pamper yourself with the largest traditional market (souk) in Morocco and one of the busiest squares in Africa and the world .
By night the square bustles with acrobats, story-tellers, water sellers, dancers and musicians, food stalls turning the square into a huge busy open-air restaurant.
