Comments | You better register early… with 900+ runners in ’10 , 1700 this year 2011 That event is becoming more and more popular for a reason.Jeremy and his team are doing an excellent job in adding for the first time : Pace setters I was one of those Pace setters”Strides”; the running store where we picked up the bibs is well located easy to find and has a free parking lot near by. The Staff’ shop is friendly and helpful .. Chiptime and PUMA Technical shirts included in the priceSunday The Race starts @ 7:30 am at Glenmore Athletic Park with a school 2 blocks away there is plenty of parking places if coming by car. A non covered bag drop is provided … so you might want to leave you bags in the car if it’s rainThe half Marathon will cover the area around the reservoir Fairly flat and rolling you can get a good amount of speed. Km 13 you will have a bit of challenge if you don’t like uphills and near the end, in order to cross the highway, there is a bridge climb but nothing dramaticWater stations are there with sports drinks … No solid provided only gels once around mid race The park comes with Washrooms for emergency stops .Finishing line is at the stadium. Nice Medals, a bit small, are distributed to 1/2 Marathon Finishers as well as Hot Breakfast , Water and sport drink for every bodyOn a nice sunny morning that Stampede Road Race is a great workout a wonderful warn up for what comes after cause if you are passing through don’t forget to pay a visit to the Stampede Festival which goes on for 10 days It’s a Must DO |

Hello Jeremy,
Odd question, but I was wondering if you can forward this request to the gentleman who was the 1:55 pacer for the Stampede Road race please?
He took some photos of me during and after the race and I was hoping to get a copy of them as those are the only pictures I’d have of my personal best run. Also I wanted to thank him again for keeping me on track. I couldn’t have made my time if it wasn’t for him!
I’d really appreciate it!
